La Costa has great staff and serves the BEST tacos ever! They accept only cash; and there is an ATM conveniently placed inside the restaurant. Woo-hoo. Please remember to tip the staff! They are very deserving! We'll be back for more of those irresistible tacos!!

I've been here a number of times and always satisfied. Their food is delicious, prices are decent and their service always fast and friendly. Whether in the mood for simply a burrito or one of their combo dishes, they are all good. I have never had a problem with special requests. There is an open area outside with a roof covering. The menu is displayed clearly and large on the wall. Walk on up to the order window, usually there's a line. Place your order and pay. They'll ask you whether it is for here or to go. You'll get a receipt with an order number. When your food is ready, they'll call your order number at the pick up window. Be sure to grab any condiments, plastic utensils and napkins you'll need. If eating there, take your tray to one of the tables outside or the dining room inside. Even though your view is only of the parking lot, there is something I love about sitting outside, enjoying my food with some natural light and fresh air. They are located in an "L" shaped set of stores on the corner of Brentwood Blvd and Oak St. Although very busy, I have never had a problem with parking.

Referred here by our neighbor. The food is fantastic. Mostly have had burritos and taco salads. The shrimp they use is great. Having to pay cash is understandable. Their prices are low because they don't have to pay charge/debit card fees. Wonderful food and very fast service.

What a gem of a local spot! We stopped by for lunch and were thoroughly impressed. Conveniently, there's a parking lot and you can choose between indoor or outdoor setup. Ordering is done at the window, and you pick up your food there once it's ready. Just a heads-up, it's cash only! We tried the special shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. Generous portions with plenty of shrimp, all for a great price! The cheese was perfectly melted onto the tortilla, topped with fresh salsa and guacamole. On the side, we enjoyed flavorful rice and beans. The ambiance is charming with a true mom-and-pop feel. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu!

We stopped by this place for lunch after a morning of cherry picking and had a delightful experience. The guacamole was very fresh and well-seasoned, and the beans and rice were full of flavor. The atmosphere was casual but very accommodating. My only suggestion would be to offer more vegetable options in the vegetarian items. Overall, it was a great spot for a quick and satisfying lunch.

Best Mexican restaurant with the best friendly service! This is my go to hands down every time I come out to Brentwood The burritos are so delicious!! If you order SUPER Burrito, you're going to get exactly that! Unlike most Mexican spots where the super burrito is not a super smh I love it here!!!

If you found this review you are already on your way to the best food in your whole life! The tacos here are literally life changing! I am normally a chicken girl but the carne asada and carnitas are the move here! The carnitas is perfectly juicy while also crispy! The carne asada is nice and tender and its all so good! Not to mention that these tacos are still under 3 dollars! I mean who is paying 4 bucks for a street taco?! Couldn't be me. It is important to note though that this spot is not white washed so the salsa has a nice kick to it! So if you don't love spice or are unsure, maybe ask for it on the side. But if you can handle it, it some good salsa!

I've been eating at La Costa in the San Jose area since I was a young child. It's definitely a comfort food for me. It's a place that makes fast and cheap Mexican food. Can't ever go wrong with a quick meal here. I'm vegetarian so I hear most people go for their seafood dishes but I love their veggie burritos and quesadillas. My boyfriends mom relocated to Brentwood and when I saw there was a la costa here I was so happy! Their outdoor patio makes it a nice spot to have a relaxing outdoor lunch. Today we opted for the veggie torta (subbed meat for beans) and their quesadilla. Both were delicious as always. Their rice, beans, and salsa taste home made. Only wish they added cheese to their tortas and that they served coke and not pepsi lol!
